Hello everyone! I’m Xiao Shengqi. I’m 12 years old, and I love reading. When I open a book, it feels like I’m walking into a new world. So I never want to put my favorite books down.​ My favorite time to read is right after I take a shower. The shower makes me relaxed, and the books make me happier. Books are like little friends that make my evenings nice.​

Look, this is 《Journey to the West》—it’s my favorite book ever! It’s about Tang Seng, a kind monk. He goes to the West to get holy books, and three disciples go with him. They are Sun Wukong (a strong Monkey King), Zhu Bajie (a funny pig), and Sha Wujing (a loyal). That’s why it’s really a “Journey”—it’s about working together, not easy.​
